Il Divo returns to one of his favorite countries: Colombia. The multinational group will perform on May 5 in Bogotá in a unique concert at the Movistar Arena with a tour full of hits from Il Divo’s vast catalog of songs in an incredible stage production and with a fundamental tribute. After the death of Carlos Marín, the remaining members of the group, David Miller from the United States, Sebastien Izambard from France and Urs Buhler from Switzerland, will continue with their tour in tribute to Marín. The tour, formerly the For Once in My Life Tour, will continue as a Greatest Hits Tour and will feature Mexican American baritone Steven LaBrie as a special guest. “Carlos was a larger-than-life personality, with a rare combination of an incredibly beautiful, God-given voice and absolutely immense talent. His passion, joy and sense of humor made him such a magical person, and his laugh always would lift anyone up. He was loved by millions of fans around the world and we were lucky and honored to be able to perform with him among us for so many years. His joy, friendship and brilliant voice will be deeply missed. In his honor, we will create the Carlos Foundation Marin and we will play tributes to his singing at our upcoming concerts. May he be remembered by all for his beautiful soul, his incredible talent and may he rest in peace forever,” Miller, Izambard and Buhle said in a statement. The tour supports his tenth studio production, For Once In My Life: A Celebration Of Motown, available now, as well as the Carlos Marín Foundation. With over 30 million albums sold, 160 gold and platinum records in 33 countries to their credit Il Divo were the first Classic Crossover artists to have a debut album at #1 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart. On May 5 they will return to the Movistar Arena in Bogotá for a live tribute to Carlos Marín and an unmissable presentation of his greatest hits.
