On May 25, 1977, George Lucas premiered his third film and from day one it became a mass cultural phenomenon that crossed borders and languages to become the first global cinema blockbuster: Star Wars: A New Hope. The discovery of characters like Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, RD2D or Han Solo was tattooed in the collective memory of planet Earth. Almost half a century after its original premiere, the different generations of fans in Colombia will be able to relive the film, on a giant screen, with the original music (Oscar for Best Soundtrack-1977) by the immortal John Williams and under an experience that will transcend cinema . Maestro John Jesensky, who was already in Colombia leading the interpretation of the Harry Potter soundtracks in concert for his dates in Bogotá, will be in charge of conducting the National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia. The Movistar Arena will stand as the nucleus of that galaxy, far, far away, and the place where we will experience live music, eternal images on a giant screen and the shared emotion of the Colombian fans of the saga.
