A Journey Through Disney’s Most Iconic Stories

The show took Bogotá families on a magical journey through some of Disney’s most beloved films. Guests visited the Madrigal family in the charming Colombian mountain village inspired by Encanto, set sail across the ocean with Moana and the demigod Maui, and stepped into the snowy kingdom of Arendelle alongside Anna and Elsa from Frozen.

Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy served as the show’s hosts, inviting audiences to join the adventure alongside Disney Princesses, while Dory, Nemo, Marlin, and Hank from Finding Dory shared the ice with Buzz Lightyear, Woody, and the rest of the Toy Story gang.

The production featured world-class skaters from countries including the United States, Estonia, France, Mexico, and Ukraine, among others, as part of the South American tour of “Disney On Ice: 100 Years of Wonder,” which had already visited Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay.

The Bogotá performances took place as part of The Walt Disney Company’s global 100th anniversary celebration, officially commemorated on October 16. To mark this milestone, Disney presented special anniversary productions in countries around the world throughout 2023.
