This stage was the one that sold the most tickets, surpassing several in the United States, such as the Moody Center and the Van Andel Arena. The Movistar Arena concentrates 71% of the shows that take place in the Colombian capital, with a capacity of between 4,000 and 20,000 attendees.
The Movistar Arena of Bogota, located on NQS Avenue, occupied the first place in the ranking made by the publication, specialized in the music and entertainment industry, standing out as the only stage in Latin America.
“We are proud to position Colombia’s entertainment in the eyes of the world, to connect Bogota with major international tours and to be a platform that encourages local artists to perform on top-level stages,” said Luigi Quintero, general manager of the Movistar Arena, in a statement.
This is not the first time that this stage in Bogota is highlighted by the magazine. Since 2022 it has appeared in Pollstar’s ‘rankings’, occupying different positions and standing out as the best stage in Latin America.
“Being the only Latin American venue in this ranking is no coincidence, it is the result of a committed team and a clear vision of becoming regional leaders in entertainment and event production,” added the manager.
