Il Divo is a vocal group from England that was formed in 2003 thanks to the vision of music producer Simon Cowell. It is made up of singers of various nationalities with classical training: Urs Bühler from Switzerland, Sébastien Izambard from France, David Miller from the United States, and Steven LaBrie, also from the United States, who joined in 2022 following the sad loss of Carlos Marín from Spain on December 19, 2021.
Il Divo is a pioneer in the genre of operatic pop, or “popera,” which combines classical and popular music. This fusion has allowed them to sell more than 30 million albums worldwide and fill venues on five continents.
