“This semester, we have achieved key operational milestones that demonstrate the strength of our industry. Selling out 16 shows and projecting an attendance of over half a million people reflects the tremendous momentum Bogotá is experiencing as a venue for major events. This success is the result of our collaboration with promoters, artists, and strategic partners to deliver world-class experiences,” said Luis Guillermo Quintero, general manager of Movistar Arena.

The figures also highlight the cultural consumption trends of the Colombian public. Spanish-language pop led the venue’s programming for the semester with a 77% share, followed by Spanish-language rock and urban music shows, demonstrating the prominent role of Latin American artists in the venue’s lineup.

Beyond its artistic programming, the Movistar Arena continues to generate a multiplier effect for the city’s economy. The arrival of thousands of attendees per event boosts hotel occupancy, spending at restaurants, demand for transportation services, and job creation linked to the entertainment value chain.

With these results, the Movistar Arena reaffirms its role as one of Latin America’s most important venues and as a strategic partner for Bogotá’s cultural and economic development.
