“Colombia is on the tour map and Bogotá is a must-see stop on tours”

There are 32 days left until the end of the year and the lineup of shows at the Movistar Arena is still extensive. The entertainment venue, which is among the six best venues in the world, expects to host 102 public events this year.

In #InsideLR, the general manager of the complex, Luis Guillermo Quintero, gave an overview of the arena in its six years of operation, talked about the artist line-up for next year and gave a diagnosis of the sector.

You have been operating for six years, how much has the entertainment and entertainment industry strengthened?
It has been a fairly positive balance, especially after the pandemic. The concert boom worldwide has had dizzying growth, and Colombia and Bogotá have not been the exception.

And in figures, how is it reflected? Since we opened, we have had more than 500 events, more than 600 artists have passed through the arena, 60% international and 40% national. And during these years more than five million people have passed through the Movistar Arena, including 1.8 million who were vaccinated during the pandemic.
