Over the course of the year, the Arena has sold more than 480,000 tickets. In addition, the events that have taken place during the year have represented a spillover to the city's economy of more than $500,000 million, benefiting the hotel, restaurant, transportation, food and beverage, services and technical sectors, among others.
“Since October 2018, the Movistar Arena has become the home of more than 380 national artists and more than 285 international artists, transforming the event experience of 5 million people. It is a venue of the people and for the people, every day we work to nourish the culture of the city and enhance the entertainment and strengthen the trust of the brands,” commented Luigi Quintero, general manager of the Movistar Arena.
Regarding its commitment to the environment, Quintero highlighted that the company has contributed to the reforestation of more than 5,000 native trees in different ecosystems of the country such as Guasca and La Guajira. In addition, it has been carrying out waste management and donation of usable material, and supports more than 65 mothers who are heads of households who live off the circular economy.
