Bogotá, May 2026. Movistar Arena continues to strengthen its position as one of the leading international references in the live entertainment industry, enhancing Colombia’s image worldwide, boosting the local economy, and positioning Bogotá as a global cultural and musical hub.

In the latest ranking for the first half of 2026, the renowned industry publication Billboard recognized Movistar Arena as the number one venue in South America in the category of arenas with capacities between 10,000 and 15,000 attendees. It was also included in the global Top 20 venues in its category, a distinction that reaffirms the arena’s international standing within the global live entertainment circuit.

Adding to this important recognition is Pollstar, one of the most influential platforms in the global entertainment industry, which ranked Movistar Arena first in its most recent attendance chart thanks to its performance over the past month, during which the venue hosted 15 events and welcomed more than 118,000 attendees.

These recognitions reaffirm Movistar Arena’s operational consistency and leadership within the entertainment industry, following its recognition in 2025 by Pollstar’s prestigious mid-year rankings as the number one venue in South America among arenas of this format.

“These recognitions from Pollstar and Billboard are the result of the daily efforts of an exceptional team and the trust placed in us by promoters, artists, and, of course, the audience. These top rankings motivate us to continue raising the industry’s standards across the region, consolidating Bogotá as a must-stop destination on major world tours and demonstrating that entertainment in Colombia is operating at the highest international level,” said Luis Guillermo Quintero, General Manager of Movistar Arena.

The venue’s versatile design allows configurations for events ranging from 4,000 to 15,000 attendees, providing infrastructure adaptable to different production formats and live experiences.

The arena’s programming will continue to focus on a diverse and balanced agenda, aligned with evolving audiences and the wide range of sounds that converge in today’s entertainment landscape. Genres such as urban music, pop, rock, electronic music, and regional popular music will coexist alongside family-oriented shows and other cultural formats.
