Bogotá, May 2026.
The Movistar Arena continues to establish itself as one of the leading international benchmarks in the live entertainment industry, strengthening Colombia’s image on the global stage, boosting the local economy, and positioning Bogotá as a cultural and musical epicenter of global stature.
In the most recent ranking for the first half of 2026, the renowned industry publication Billboard highlighted the Movistar Arena as the number one venue in South America in the category of venues with a capacity between 10,000 and 15,000 attendees, in addition to including it among the world’s Top 20 venues in its category—a recognition that reaffirms the venue’s international standing within the global live entertainment circuit.
Adding to this significant recognition is Pollstar, one of the most influential platforms in the global entertainment industry, which ranked the Movistar Arena first on its most recent attendance list, thanks to its performance over the past month, during which the venue hosted 15 shows and drew more than 118,000 attendees.
These accolades confirm Movistar Arena’s operational consistency and leadership in the entertainment industry, following its 2025 recognition in Pollstar’s prestigious mid-year ranking as South America’s top venue of this format.
“These accolades from Pollstar and Billboard are the result of the daily efforts of an exceptional team and the trust of promoters, artists, and, of course, the public. These top rankings drive us to continue raising the industry standard in the region, consolidating Bogotá as a must-see stop on major world tours and demonstrating that entertainment in Colombia is at the highest international level,” said Luis Guillermo Quintero, General Manager of Movistar Arena.
The venue’s versatile design allows for configurations accommodating events ranging from 4,000 to 15,000 attendees, offering an infrastructure adaptable to various production formats and live experiences.
The venue’s programming will continue to focus on a diverse and balanced lineup, in line with the evolution of audiences and the variety of sounds that converge in today’s entertainment landscape. Genres such as urban music, pop, rock, electronic, and popular music will coexist with family shows and other cultural formats.
